OUR STORY

A True Story from 3400 Auto Sales & Service

One summer afternoon around 2010, an elderly woman crashed into a curb just outside
our dealership. She was in tears—worried about her granddaughter and unable to afford
repairs. A tow truck would take too long, so our team grabbed a floor jack and pushed her
full-size vehicle—by hand—into our service bay.
We repaired her suspension, fixed her AC, and gave her a new tire—all free of charge. She
kept saying, “I don’t have the money,” and I told her, “No worries—just pay back when you
can.” But truthfully, our only goal was to help her safely get back on the road to pick up her
granddaughter.
Two years later, there was a knock at our door.
She walked in holding a beautiful foot-tall plant and asked, “Do you remember me?” I
smiled and replied, “Of course I do.” She gently placed the plant on my desk and said, “This
is just to say thank you—for helping me when I had no one else. I’m also here to buy a car.”
I was honored to help her again—and today, that very same plant stands over seven feet
tall
, proudly growing in our office. It has become more than a gift—it’s a living symbol of
who we are and what we stand for.
She has since referred over 30 customers to us.
